SERVICES

SHOP - THE ODD COLLECTIVE
The Club is split into two main areas… SHOP and CREATE. Within the shop we host a curated collection of designs applied onto a range of garments designed by 20 rad artists. Every time you shop we give money directly to the artist who designed it! Shop knowing you are helping independent artists pay the rent, buy more art supplies and live the dream of making art. We rotate the store every six months to keep you up-to date with coolest of the cool.

We also have an in-house Club range including an exclusive bedding range available to purchase via our online shop.

You can also rep some rad Club Merch designed by both us and a range of artists.

CREATE - DIGITAL PRINTING
Like ink jet printers, this technique allows you to print millions of colours making it a perfect choice for full color prints. Digital printing also allows us to offer custom apparel and homewares with no minimum order requirement so you can test designs on your audience, make personalised gifts, individually named sports tees, apparel for corporate events, start your own label for local artist markets or online etc.

Full colour (CMYK + white ink)
Photographic textile print quality
No set-up costs / no colour separations
No minimum print run (yes you can print one at a time)
Fast turn around (1–5 days for small orders)
Bulk pricing for orders over 5 units
Cotton garments only
Max print size 40 x 45cm (but we have ways of working around this on tea towels and pillowcases)
Create online 24 / 7

You can also mix and match designs within the same style to qualify for the bulk discounts. More info on pricing here.

All garments are pre-sewn before printing. Because of this we cannot print to the very edge or all over apparel. File set-up tips here.

CREATE - SCREEN PRINTING
Screen printing is a more traditional print method in which each colour in a design is separated into individual screens. Ink is then transferred to the garment through the screen. Screen printing is more cost-effective for printing large custom orders like uniforms, large corporate events, wholesale orders etc.

Minimum print run of 20
More accurate colour match + metallics / fluros
$70 screen set up fee per colour / per design
2 week turn around
Bulk pricing for orders over 50 units
Max print area 50 x 50cm
Can be printed onto a range of fabrics
Please email us with your design and quantity and we can quote accurately.

CREATE - VINYL CUTTING
Think of vinyl as a giant sheet of sticker. We take your design and cut it out with a very clever computer cutter. We then take the giant sticker and (by hand) sit there and remove all the little bits that are not part of your design (the white bits) This can take 10 mins or two hours. It really depends on how complicated your design is. We then take the finished design and lay it on the garment. Using a heat press we adhere them together (or apply to walls and windows).
We have both metallic foil and solid colour vinyls available
All artwork must be a single colour vector file
Ai or EPS with text converted to outlines
Max size for garments 40 x 45cm
Max size for walls and windows 60cm wide x continuous roll
No minimum charges

We can help you translate your artwork into vector files and also offer decal installation

Please email shop@theclubofoddvolumes.com for more info. Include artwork and size so we can quote accurately as we charge based on the size and complexity of the artwork.

The Odd Collective is a curated online store where we rotate our artists every six months within the online shop. This means a fresh batch of talented people with a massive range of all new designs for you to choose from.

If you liked a design and it is now gone from the Club website you have a few options…

Pick something new by one of our current artists
Follow that artists on social media. A lot of our artists start their own online stores once their residency has ended.
Follow the Club on Instagram / Facebook / email to know when rotations are coming up so you do not miss out.

Remember every purchase you make gives money directly to the artist who designed it, so shop knowing you are helping independent artists pay the rent, buy more art supplies and live the dream of making art.

AN ARTWORK I LIKE IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE PRODUCT I WANT, CAN I GET IT?
It is the artist's choice to decide which designs are applied onto which products they make available for sale. Please feel free to email if you would love to see it on a particular item and we will see what we can do.

MAKING A CUSTOM ORDER

HOW LONG DO ORDERS TAKE TO PRINT?
Please allow 2–5 days for printing for small print runs (under 10 units). You should then add shipping times onto of that.
If you need something in a hurry please email us before placing the order and we will see what we can do.

HOW DO I UPLOAD MY DESIGNS FOR PRINTING?
We have tried to make it easy for you to upload designs for printing on our website, but we are aware that our system is not yet perfect! For example you can not upload PDF's. Please try a different file type (PNG are best)

If you are having trouble please email shop@theclubofoddvolumes.com and we'll help you out!

ARE MY UPLOADED DESIGNS AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO THE ONLINE SHOP?
No. Our online store is a curated platform for 20 artists at a time. We rotate these artists every six months. For more info check out Joining the Odd Collective.

DO YOU HAVE DIFFERENT COLOURED TEES / HOODIES?
We are happy to custom order in any product from the AS COLOUR catalogue (www.ascolour.com.au) whether it be a special size, cut or colour that we do not regularly stock. Please email for more info.

CAN I SUPPLY MY OWN TEES?
No. We are happy to order in cut or colour from the AS COLOUR range (www.ascolour.com.au)

DO YOU PRINT ONTO FABRIC?
We do not stock any fabric. We have some customers who print onto either our tea towels or pillowcases and cut and sew these to create their own projects. Our maximum print area is 40 x 45cm.

DO YOU PRINT ON A ROLL?
We do not print yardage. Our machine is a flat bed print rather than a roll fed machine. Our maximum print area is 40 x 45cm.

CAN YOU PRINT MY DESIGNS ONTO BED COVERS?
The bedding you see within the Clubs shop is printed off-shore, not by us here at the Club. Like most off shore production runs we have to order in bulk, so are unable to make custom one-off designs. We are happy to work with you on large orders (over 100 units per design).

DO YOU PRINT ON PAPER OR THINGS OTHER THAN TEXTILES?
The Club does not print onto papers / card etc with either our digital printer or screen printing. We are able to make vinyl decals which can be applied to a range of surfaces including signage for walls and windows / wood / metal (most smooth surfaces)

ARTIST RE-SELLER RATES
If you are an artist and looking to sell your own designs on your website we can offer you a re-seller rate of 25% off. This means you can top up stock, test out new designs and order as you need one at a time without jumping through quantity hoops and always know your profits.

You can qualify for the re-seller rate after your first bulk order of 50 units (must be one transaction). You are able to mix and match both designs and styles to make up the 50 units. Please email through after placing your first order with a bit more about yourself, online store etc and we can set you up a log-in.

WHAT TYPE OF BRANDING DO THE APPAREL AND HOMEWARES HAVE?
We currently leave all original branding on apparel and homewares from our suppliers. These are generally small discrete labels inside garments and on the back of homewares with legal requirements and wash instructions.

CAN WE RE-LABEL WITH OUR BRANDING?
Here at The Club we do not have a re-labelling service, but our apparel supplier AS COLOUR does. There is a charge per garment depending on which tags you want added and replaced, plus you will need to supply the woven or printed labels. Please email us for more info.

GIFTS

SENDING GIFTS DIRECTLY TO THAT SPECIAL PERSON
All purchases come wrapped in complementary Club wrapping paper. Feel free to email us with a message to that someone special and we will include it on a free gift card :) We do not include invoices inside packages so you can send gifts directly.

JOINING THE ODD COLLECTIVE

HOW CAN I BECOME AN ARTIST FEATURED IN YOUR STORE?
The Odd Collective is a curated online store where we rotate our artists every six months within the online shop. This means a fresh batch of talented people get a chance to participate.

Check out more information here including how much you get paid each time one of your designs sell, dates of our two rotations and an application form to get started.

WHO CHOOSES THE ARTISTS? ANY TIPS?
We choose the artists in-house. We are always looking for a range of different styles / subject matter / mediums etc. We do not want all 20 artists looking exactly the same.

If you are putting together an application here are a few tips that may help…

Upload pictures. We need to see your art. They can be low res or have watermarks on them, but do need to be the finished artwork you would submit if chosen. This is because the turn around time from selection to high-res print ready artwork needed is a week.

Show us your social media links. We love looking through your Instagram or Facebook to get a better idea of your art. We are not looking for millions of followers or breakfast and baby pics, just serious artists who draw, doodle, create, collaborate, obsess and live for their art.

Think about how the artwork will sit on different garments. One design can be rearranged to fit as a pattern all over homewares or central on a tee. Feel free to mock-up onto garments so we can see it on a range of styles (not compulsory)

Have a style. We want to see a consistent vibe from your art.

We love to sell exclusive designs but it is not 100% a requirement.

Mostly have fun. We are not experts. We have close to 300 applicants each round and would love to choose more than 20, but at this stage feel it is important to keep the number small and offer greater exposure to these artists.

Don't give up if you are not selected. We love seeing styles evolve and often choose people who have applied more than once because the timing is now right. As mentioned above we occasionally have a few too many people already in a particular subject or style but may love your stuff so please try again.

IF CHOSEN DO I KEEP THE RIGHTS TO MY DESIGNS?
What's yours, is yours! When we post your artwork on The Club of Odd Volumes, you continue to control the rights to it.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

HOW CAN I MAKE MY PRINTS LAST LONGER?
Cold Wash
Line dry (do not tumble dry)
Avoid bleaches and harsh soaps
